Privacy Policy
Last updated September 13, 2026
This policy explains what information Wardrobe Historian (“we”, “us”) collects through wardrobehistorian.com, why we collect it, and how it is used. This policy will be updated as our commerce and referral features (“Private Finds”) expand.
Information we collect
When you use a form on this site, we may collect:
- Name and email address
- Instagram handle (newsletter sign-up only)
- Country, state/province and city (self-selected)
- Content you submit, such as a story pitch, partnership enquiry, or newsletter interests
- When you unlock a full story by entering your first name, last name and email, we also record whether you agreed to our Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy, the version of that agreement you saw, the date and time you agreed, and the IP address used at that moment, as a record of your consent
We also automatically collect limited technical information through Google Analytics, including approximate location, device and browser type, and pages visited. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this; see Google’s own privacy policy for details on how it processes this data.
Sources
- Directly from you, through the Newsletter, Submit a Story and Work With Us forms
- Automatically, through website analytics
How we use this information
- To respond to enquiries and process form submissions

- To notify our team internally when a form is submitted
- To understand site usage and improve the site (analytics)
- To meet legal obligations, and to keep a record of your consent where you have given it
Where we introduce you to a specialist commercial partner at your request (for example, a Private Find enquiry), we share the relevant details of your enquiry with that partner so they can respond to you. This is described further in our Commercial Disclosure. We do not sell your information.
